At the same time you submit your portfolio, we ask that you also submit an electronic copy of your first paper for inclusion in the Summer Institute’s Anthology. This will be a bound, published book that you will receive at the reunion in October, up in the relative luxury (e.g., bathrooms and satellite TV in each room!) of Wilson’s Camp Prattville resort on Lake Almanor. 

Please include as well a short (75 words max) “About the author” blurb, which will be printed (with your picture) after your paper. Write this in the 3rd person (e.g., “Peter Kittle has been teaching since 1987, blah blah blah …”). Consider including a surprising (but true!) tidbit to add a little spice.
